The capital good difference
Capital Good is built with the conviction that powerful giving happens when a donor is truly invested, not just financially, but personally. That means we work to match you with the right organization and the right kind of involvement. Whether that's a seat on an advisory board, a volunteer role, attendance at key events, or board placement, we help you find the form of engagement that fits how you want to show up in the world.
The most impactful organizations are not always the most visible. The nonprofit landscape is dominated by well-known names with established marketing budgets, but some of the most rigorous, effective work being done today is happening in organizations that haven't yet found the recognition they deserve. Capital Good exists, in part, to change that. We connect donors with exceptional organizations that are doing good work at every level and any scale.

Grace Gerber, LMSW
Founder & Principal Adviser
Grace brings over a decade of experience across philanthropic institutions and community-based organizations. With a Master's in Social Work from Columbia University, where her work focused on the intersection of social policy, research, and intervention design, she developed a rigorous foundation for understanding how change happens at both the systems and community level. Prior to founding her firm, Grace worked at the Robin Hood Foundation, one of the country's most prominent poverty-fighting organizations, where she gained firsthand experience evaluating high-impact programs and supporting strategic investments designed to deliver measurable outcomes at scale.
Her training as a social worker gives her a distinctive edge in philanthropy. Grounded in both systems-level analysis and human-centered practice, Grace understands the motivations of donors while remaining deeply attuned to the realities faced by communities and organizations on the ground. This dual perspective allows her to build authentic relationships with philanthropists and thoughtfully match their values with opportunities capable of creating meaningful change.

Jessie Chandler
Founder & Principal Adviser
Throughout her career, Jessie has distinguished herself as a connector and strategist — someone who understands what funders are looking for and knows how to align their priorities with the organizations best positioned to deliver results. She brings two decades of experience building strategic, mission-aligned partnerships across foundations, corporations, and community stakeholders. With a strong academic foundation in political science and a focus on rural development, she developed an early understanding of the structural forces that shape opportunity, and the targeted investments required to shift them. That grounding informs everything she does, from identifying high-impact initiatives to guiding donors toward opportunities that are both meaningful and sustainable.
Her experience spanning the philanthropic, corporate, and nonprofit sectors gives her a panoramic view of the funding landscape, allowing her to build authentic relationships across difference and broker partnerships that might not otherwise take shape. This breadth of perspective, combined with a deep commitment to community-centered outcomes, is what allows her to move donors from intention to impact.
